Trend Micro Internet Security 2010 System Requirements

Prior to beginning installation, be sure to:

- close any open programs
- uninstall any existing antivirus, firewall, or spyware programs
- read the minimum requirements on the Comporium subscriber portal

1. Navigate to http://utility.comporium.net. Login with your Comporium username and password.

2. Click on Trend Micro Internet Security.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions for generating a license key and downloading the software. Be sure to select the correct version.

4. Double click the downloaded installation file. The installation will ask you where to extract the installation files. You may opt to change the location where to save the files, or just click Next. The installation will then extract all of the files.

5. Read the license agreement, and then click I accept the terms in the license agreement to continue installing Trend Micro Internet Security. If you do not accept the license agreement, installation will stop. Click Next.

6. Insert the license key you generated on the Comporium subscriber portal. Click Next.

7. Choose Regular Installation. Click Next. This will begin the installation of the software.

8. Select Activate Now.

9. If you are upgrading from a previous version of Trend Micro Internet Security that was provided by Comporium, you will not need to re-register. You will only need to confirm your subscription. If you installing this program for the first time you will need to first enter your name and e-mail address.

10. Once registration is complete, the program will automatically update itself. if you are asked to restart, please do so.
