Notice – Comporium DNS Servers
In the past, Comporium customers have always been able to use the following DNS servers in their TCP/IP configuration:
• 206.74.254.2
• 204.116.57.2
Because these servers do not belong to Comporium, we are advising all customers to change their TCP/IP configuration to Comporium supported DNS servers. The DNS servers that Comporium supports are as follows:
• Primary: 208.104.244.45
• Secondary: 208.104.2.36
• Tertiary: 208.104.2.85
While it is possible that 206.74.254.2 and 204.116.57.2 may continue to work, we cannot guarantee that they will remain operational. It is important that our customers proceed with making the changes indicated above in order to avoid any service interruptions in the future.
If you are already using the supported DNS servers, please disregard this letter. Customers who do not have a static IP address can disregard this message in most cases (customers without a static IP address receive the correct DNS servers when they connect to the Internet, but in some cases may have manually programmed them in).
To verify your settings or request assistance in changing the DNS servers to the correct IP addresses, please contact technical support at 866-843–9444.
